Swap the spirits. Line up three. Let them charge. Seven moji live in a night pool: a flame, a wave, a stone, a ghost, a spark, a seed and a star. Swap two neighbours to line up three of a kind and they clear; the board falls and refills, and new lines clear again in a chain. Moji that sit beside their own kind charge up between moves, and a fully charged pair sets off on its own, so the best boards are the ones you build and then leave alone. Line up four for a Burst, and each moji has its own: Ember burns the diagonals, Tide charges its row, Stone makes the next match count half again, Root doubles charging for three moves, Arc clears every Arc on the board, Frost fully charges its column, and Veil charges every Veil and opens sealed moji. Line up five for a Surge, the same power and more of it. Classic is ninety seconds on the clock; every match gives a little time back, and a long chain more. You start with four moji; Arc, Frost and Veil wake and join the board as your score climbs. One leaderboard, one number to beat. The Daily Ritual is one board for everyone each day, with twenty moves to clear it. Finish with moves to spare and they pay; keep your streak going. The Rituals are forty puzzles with no clock: clear so many of a kind in a set number of moves, open the seals, and earn up to three stars. They start gentle and end at Resonance Peak. Every shape is different, so the moji read apart without their colours.
