1. Who we are
Gamemoor is operated by Wildmoor Studio. When we say "we", "our", or "us" in this policy, we mean Wildmoor Studio. Questions about this policy: contact us.
2. Data we collect
If you play without an account: We record an anonymous play event (game played, device type, referrer). A temporary session ID is stored in your browser's sessionStorage — it is never linked to a persistent identity and disappears when you close the tab.
If you create an account: We store your email address, display name, and account preferences. We do not store passwords in plain text (hashed via industry-standard methods).
Scores and achievements are stored if you are signed in and submit them.
3. How we use your data
We use collected data to operate the platform (play counts, leaderboards, account features), improve game recommendations, and maintain platform security. We use Google Analytics to understand traffic and player engagement, utilizing server-side tracking to minimize direct device fingerprinting where possible. We do not sell your data to third parties.
4. Advertising
Gamemoor displays contextual advertisements to guests and free-tier users. We do not use behavioural or targeted advertising. Ads are not shown on pages rated PEGI 3 or PEGI 7. Pro-tier subscribers see no ads.
5. Cookies & Analytics
We use a session cookie for authenticated users (to maintain your login state). We also use third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics' _ga) to measure site usage and attribution. You have the right to decline non-essential analytics cookies via our cookie banner at any time.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Children
Gamemoor is for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will note the date of the last update at the top of this page. Continued use of Gamemoor after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
